Alexis Sanchez

Excellent post, and some good points in there. If the shoe were on the other foot I'd be thinking along similar lines, but I just think when it really comes to down to it the board at Arsenal will take the money this summer. The only way out is if they can talk Sanchez into signing a new deal. Now I don't know the guy obviously but if reports are true, he has his heart set on playing for Pep. In your current position of no CL I'm not sure you're going to be able to convince him to stay.

And it's a scenario i can't rule out either. I know some folk are not big on rival fans coming on here, but i'm not one to come on here & give it the big i am, we'll do this & we'll do that. I'm just trying to point out that there's more to this than a simple business transaction. It might well end up that he does still go, fair do's if he does.

For me if a player doesn't want to be at your club I would just get the best price for him and say adios!
I count City in with everybody else, if Aguero was behaving like Sanchez i'd want him gone.
Tevez was a kind of similar situation, i like most wanted him gone ASAP.

Come on bravo kick up a fuss:-)

What's he actually done wrong though? Refused to sign a new contract so far? Said he wants to play in & win the Champions League but the decision remains with Arsenal? By all accounts he's still on good terms with his teammates, is still in contact with the manager.

If he starts to kick up a fuss, then it might be another issue.

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have reportedly sent their sporting director to London in a bid to finalise a deal for Alexis Sanchez.

Le Parisien via GFFN claims Antero Henrique is in the capital and will attempt to broker a deal with Arsenal for the Chilean forward.

If we pay 50m or 60m I don't care because when we win the league it won't matter even if we pay 70m, Sanchez is a game changer and adding him to our already potent attack will bring us the league and put us in good position to seriously compete for the CL. Not to mention how much the young players will learn from him. He would be an invaluable acquisition, perfect age as well, still will be a top player for another 2-3 years even after that he could probably still be effective off the bench and in cup games etc.

If it were true that buying one player guarantees you the league, I think we would have bought said player by now, but it isn't true, never has been and never will be I'm afraid

Apart from Pep admiring Sanchez as a footballer and as a person, Have we actually got a concrete interest in him ?? according to some reports he looks as if he could be finally on his way to PSG ?

Could we actually behind the scene's with Monaco on a potential deal for Mbappe - which would be this so-called whispered world record bid

But he would probably be the final piece in the jigsaw, and then we will win the league.

I thought Pep's comments in his presser yesterday regarding going for young players was quite telling.

I think the only way we get Sanchez is if he pushes through the move, otherwise we won't wait around deep into August hoping that Arsenal sell him to us. We will just move on.

Pep going on yesterday saying that the market should close before the season starts tells me he wants everyone in by the start of August.

If true could be an astute move by Arsenal. Say a deal has been agreed with PSG with just personal terms to sort. Doesn't leave Sanchez much wriggle room and he would need to force any move to us, leaving no doubt as to who the bad guy is.

Looks to me that Real are gathering the funds, from us and chelsea to buy Mbappe
