Hopefully the feeling of disappointment at losing the Confederations Cup Final will be a feeling he won't want to be feeling next season at Arsenal, and he pushes through his transfer. Must be a bit of a pisser carrying every team you currently play for, he must long to play in a team stuffed to the gills with quality

This thread will have hit at least 1000 pages before anything of interest takes place. He'll be on his hols for the forseeable and the only thing I expect to happen is a lot of posturing from all sides involved.

Pep needs to let him know we will fill his pockets in 2018 if they won't let him come this summer. Then he walks away for free and we can give him a big fat signing bonus for not costing us £50M this season, allowing us to spend the money elsewhere. I'd even tell the Ox the same thing.

If we lose our case at the CAS tomorrow we are bolloxed. Arse will demand £££££££££££££££ or make sure he leaves on free to someone else.

I can see Wengers cunning plan, sign Lacazette, keep Sanchez for another year, then sign Lacazettes best mate Griezmann as Sanchez replacement. :-)

In all seriousness, I'll be surprised if he stays now. Perhaps it's time to cash in, try and get Tommy Lemar and try and build again. I can't pretend I won't be upset at losing him, but I don't think he's irreplaceable, life goes on and perhaps it's the time to try a new cycle.

So?

I've seen Messi have poor games for Argentina.

I've seen Aguero, Silva and Yaya be bloody rubbish for City and against some dog shit teams as well.

What do you mean "So?" Are you a child.

I made a comment that he was crap tonight in a major final for his country. No need to be salty about it.

I also think he won the FA cup for the Arse v Chavs.

Two things:

1) That's a big "IF"
2) You assume that even if your "IF" happens, we get a transfer ban ("bolloxed"). I imagine that would immediately be appealed, especially considering the governing body of football had previously OK'd it.
3) Arsenal don't get to demand he goes somewhere else for free. The key is in the "free" part.
4) If Arsenal demand £x15, then they simply price the player out of a move and have an unhappy superstar on their hands. He is already not happy at his treatment under Wenger, and the lack of effort he feels some of the team put into some games, so that doesn't strike me as a prudent decision...but this is football, and Arsenal, and who knows?!
