Didn't Pep say that previously he thought Aguero was "waiting" to score goals whereas now he is more involved in the overall play. Its probably true that the typical goal poachers tend to score the more spectacular goals because they're watching the play, conserving their energy, waiting for the moment to strike. But that's not what Pep wants from Aguero. Pep seems to prefer the tap ins on the end of a team goal.

he's the only striker, he's 6 years in, yet he may have scored more but his performances have declined, and his attributes have declined.

Ronaldo/Messi/Suarez would have 30 + league goals with the opportunities presented to him this season. He has missed so many chances it's unreal.

He's nailed his opinion to the mast a long time ago on this debate and feels the need to reiterate it over and over for some reason.
What will be will be regards Aguero but this fallacy that he's our weak link and has had a poor season has to stop. He's having to transform his game from the one he's played since he turned pro and it was never going to be easy, to not see his improvements though or to dismiss them is just silly.

He's not been anywhere near as good this season. It's just a fact. He's slower, he's not as effective at beating his man and he's nowhere near clinical enough in front of goal so far, despite the goals he has scored. If he'd scored half of the chances you'd expect him to score, that he's ended up missing this season, we'd still be in the title race and the Champions League.

Nobody has done it in the premier league era, even when it was a 42 game season. 34 was the record in 42 games, 31 the record from 38 games.

Even the three he mentioned:
Messi has managed it 3 times in 13 seasons, playing for what's widely accepted as the best club team of all time.
Tranny has managed it 3 times in 16 seasons and couldn't do it in this league.
Suarez once in 12 seasons, including seasons in the Eredivisie, couldn't do it in this league.
 
Fucking hell, heard it all now, Aguero is shit, only got just the 28 in 38 and I am reading that the best striker in City's history needs replacing, there are some dense fuckers posting in here
 
I'm sure the significant driving factor in looking at Sanchez is that Kun wants to leave and he told Pep that some time ago. If he wanted to stay I can't imagine for one moment we would be looking at buying Sanchez and Mbappe

The 8 year olds are the moaning mard arses who behave like spoiled brats, slagging off legends, and coming out with crap like Aguero misses so many chances it's unreal. Spoiled fucking brat. I have an 8 year old and he wonders why people moan so much at matches, unfortunately I am unable to explain why, but he really appreciates the class of players like Aguero, he understands concepts like consistency and loyalty, and he just wouldn't understand people like you. He would probably suggest that you fucking grow up, and grow some

Hence why I don't think he's close to his best and is underperforming, and it's costing us this season. Based on him at his best, he'd have around 20-22 goals in the league already, and considering he's in a better team there's no reason why he shouldn't be improving on his previous best, not declining considerably. Bar his injury hit 2012/13 campaign the stats show this is his worst league season for us so far. Hope he bags a hattrick today and gets back on track.
