or Everton signing all these players, or Liverpool, pretty much every team's wage bill next season will be more than 7m higher than this, you can clearly see that using common sense.
Unless there is a special rule that only applies to Arsenal, as the papers seem to insist.

Is this the £200m that's cash in the bank as it's actually £100m and that's just gonna get wiped out this season with no champions league

He is very good on Arsenal news, Ive not seen him mention balancing the books, nor did Ivan Gazidis in the end of season Q/A session, and believe me, if the Arsenal board can say they had to sell Sanchez to meet FFP, they would have jumped on it.

Would the fact that City had several players contracts run out play into this though? That's a lot of wages off the books.

It seems we were bidding for Lemar so must have some wiggle room. We do have too bloated a squad, and need to concentrate on shifting people out the door. Szcezney, Ospina, Debuchy, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Joel Campbell, Lucas, Akpom all need to find new clubs, decisions made over the likes of Ox, Wilshere, Walcott, Giroud etc. Lots can be done in terms of creating space for new contracts.
