I think Pep is building for the future, overall.

In Pep's eyes, bringing Sanchez in would 'guarantee' short-term success, at the same time allowing the younger players to develop.

How is giving away one of our most promising players, who we have been improving for the last two years building for the future? It's the direct opposite.

Why would Sterling want to lave City?

Look at his joy at scoring on Sunday.

And why to Arsenal?

A club and team going nowhere.

Exactly. He'd be getting no Champs League football. No trophies. And the manager will be gone in a month...

It seems Pep is under huge pressure, and he needs to win something now to save his reputation.

As we all know, Barcelona and Bayern always wins titles regardless of who is managing them.

Thats why Pep needs to win someting with City now.

Sanchez wants to leave, Arsenal are in disarray, Sanchez can leave for nothing in 12 months

Contrast with, Sterling has been a standout performer, he has 3 years left on his contract, he is 6 years younger.

City board.... I know lets offer Sterling PLUS cash for Sanchez!!! Do they think our board are complete imbeciles! These are shrewd, top of their game businessman. Do me a favour.

We hold all the cards FFS

This is a co-ordinated move by the British press to attempt to destabilise us when they know we are on the cusp of completing our squad and irrevocably damaging one of the cartel.

It is beautiful to see, and will only be better if we actually manage to sign Sanchez. Either way Arsenal are mortally wounded.
