Alexis Sanchez

Over stocking is peps forte
I'd certainly take it, but think he'd have to work wonders to keep them all happy for more than 1 season.

If he doesn't come here though I'll be happy enough so long as he doesn't end up at another PL rival, he's top quality & we've been fortunate he's at Arsenal rather than a more ambitious team who'd compliment him more with stronger team mates.

We simply don't have room for more attack minded players imo. Move on

I agree to an extent, but also disagree in that although we have a lot of creators we only have Kun and Jesus who are reliable finishers. Pep has already said we need more goals, and Sanchez would give us that, and a great option against bus parking teams.

Imagine some shit negative team like Stoke, WBA or Man Utd, we've battered them for 70 minutes but just can't break down their 11 man defence, then as they're tiring we bring on Alexis Sanchez!

Completely agree, but still I can't see us go for more attackers or we might end up with a frustrated bench. I'd rather we start stacking our defensive options now.

Edited for accuracy. ;-)

With Kelechi likely to be going and Navas gone, we'll have Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, Sane and Bernardo for the top 3 positions. If we go 2 up top at times, which seems feasible, then arguably we are a body missing as would have 5 players for 4 positions. Sanchez could play out wide or through the middle. Would be a great signing for me.

In all likelyhood, we'll play around 60 games next season. And will need a strong squad. Plenty of games to go around, factoring in injuries and suspensions.

Covering multiple positions is the key.

Bernardo Silva can play RW, LW, or #10.

Sanchez RW, LW, ST and #10.

When you can just jot down any 5 players from Silva, KDB, Jesus, Agüero, Sané, Sterling, Sanchez and have them work, then you can manage the rotation.

8 is pushing it but if Pep can make it work let him! If he tries other formations he might be able to get 6 on occasionally.

Madness that 1 of them wouldn't even make the bench sometimes but if he says he wants another forward after Bernie, he gets it.

If Sanchez happens, it would leave us with unbelievable depth in the attacking midfield/forward options that's for sure.

The possibility of us signing Sanchez is starting to make more sense (in terms of fully integrating with the players we have got), especially with both Unal and Ihaneanacho heading for the exit door (hopefully with buy back clauses written in).

We need to put a decent time distance between the cup final and signing him. 9 am tomorrow would be fine

i'd be loitering outside of Wembley in my Ford Cortina, with a contract in my hand grabbing Alexis around the shoulder "Here our kid, jot your hancock on this and will bung you in the back of 'Tina and take you home, away from these southern poncies'!"

I think i maybe have been watching too much White Gold and Life On Mars .....

Don't want him. I don't want too many attacking players to cause a disturbance in the dressing room. And don't give me that whole "there's plenty of games to go around crap".

Changing the lineup so much was part of the reason why we had a mediocre season.

I really don't think it's a good idea to have too many world-class players in a squad.

Is there really anyone left in the 'do we need him' crowd?

Now we have B.Silva, I'm firmly in the "do we need him crowd?"

5 forwards (B.Silva, Sterling, Sane, Jesus and Aguero) plus Roberts I hope and also Sancho has to be close to a breakthrough even if it's only cup games. De Bruyne can also play anywhere across the front 3 if needed and D.Silva in real emergencies.

Yeah. We need to buy some really average ones. All these world class players will never work.
