Think the point about needing Sanchez for more depth is right just think you're making it badly by saying other teams are in a better position than us and have a better front 5 they aren't.
Where you are right is an injury to one leaves us playing the same front three every week without Sanchez or some body to add depth. Without him we would only have 7 players for 5 positions..

You have a tendency of using 100 words where 5 would do.

What you seem to be arguing is that Liverpool having half a dozen players scoring 5-15 goals a season is better than having a couple who score 20-30, but that's not true.

We also have much better depth, and as already explained to you, Sterling and Sané will be much bigger goalthreats when overlapping fullbacks allow them to push inside.

We are looking likely to sign Sanchez or similar.

With regards United. You are suggesting Moratta & Perisic will score big noses goals and plenty more.
Yes their finishing was off, so was ours. De Bruyne hit the woodwork more than any other player.
Jesus only became available in February and was unlucky with injury.
Aguero out performed any striker at Liverpool or United.
Jesus is a far greater goal threat than any of Liverpool or United's secondary strikers.

Not to mention the difference in mentality beteeen Pep & Jose.

City's attacking players.
Aguero, Jesus, Sane, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Sterling, Silva & Sanchez(or equivalent).

United's attacking players. Reportedly.
Rashford, Rooney, Micky, Martial, Pogba, Fellaini, Morrata(?), Perisic(?), James(?).

Liverpool's.
Origi, Sturridge, Salah, Firminho, Courtinho, Mane & Lallana.

Just look at the difference.

Indeed it will, but you are not taking into account the fact that Jesus missed almost the whole season & Sane only really became relevant to the squad halfway through.

City were already a much stronger attacking side for next season, than last, without signing anybody.

Sane and Sterling were repeatedly put through one on one through the middle last season. Even then we have Jesus and Aguero down the middle. The two best strikers in the Premier League - but we're short up front? I think you need to reassess

Jesus & Aguero will probably out score those five between them. Ignoring Sanchez.
