Dont think the last year of his contract is relevant to us. We want a player for that position and have a budget, we've identified Sanchez and think we can get him. The fact he's free next summer is irrelevant, we want him now and if we cant get him we'll spend our budget on plan b and forget Sanchez. Can't see any way in which we'd pay £60m+ for a player in the last year of his contract. No matter how good, if Sanchez starts to kick up a fuss, then Arsenal will eventually fold, there's no way they'll let an asset like him walk for free.
All those players had long term contracts (not one that runs out after this season). Most were sold the following year, as for Mahrez and De Gea I can see them gone by the end of this transfer window.
How many of them you mention only had 1 year left on their contract ?
Yes Pep wants him, Yes he improves us, but "who cares" suggests (a) that we have unlimited funds and (b) that ffp doesn't exist. So for me if it limits what we can do with (say) acquiring another CB then I careIt's very high, but if he can improve our squad and Pep wants him, who cares.
Maybe, but have you ever thought it might be proper trophies he's interested in and not money ?As I have already mentioned, I was replying to a post about keeping an unhappy player, and how it will affect his performance.
So for that aspect, it doesn't matter how long is left on the contract, and like i mentioned, the fact he knows he can go next year wherever he wants and pocket the money for himself should mean he isn't too disheartened.
Arsene is supposed to care about his players,if sanchez says to him i'm not happy and i'm nearly 29 and want to stay in the CL then he should respect him enough to let him go,i say that whether it's to us or somewhere elseAs I have already mentioned, I was replying to a post about keeping an unhappy player, and how it will affect his performance.

You sure? Heard it was down the sheikhs living room sofa.
They might. If he stays, they have a good chance of a top four finish which is worth more to them than a transfer fee. Can't see any way in which we'd pay £60m+ for a player in the last year of his contract.
