Alexis Sanchez

Alexis dog is busy opening off shore bank accounts to launder all the money he's allegedly gonna earn from us.
You know what they say; the hardest part of any transfer is turning the dog's head. Once that's been done, there's no stopping it happening

Just before the final Sanchez gave an interview in which he stated i KNOW where i will be playing next season and will announce it when my duties with Chile are over A month on and NOTHING .How would we feel if this was Sergio, and he was pissing us about

How is he pissing us about?

Again, I didn't say that at all. I don't even know if one would have made it (I suspect several would at least be squad players but I have no idea without seeing them) & I think they have to be played at the right time or they go stale & lose it (in answer to your 'other clubs' question).

You said we graduate them based on 'holding their own' in training. I disagree & am making the point that they do, 'hold their own' in training. Even Boyata etc & players from that era. They are really good & training is not like real games. Hence my '40 players' comment.

The decision to play them in the first team is not based simply on that, they then 'guess' how the player will do, if he's promoted, under pressure, harder tackles etc. And usually play safe rather than even a sub place. That needs to change imo.

Re Sanchez, I would rather make up his squad place with 3 or 4 academy kids rather than sivn him.

I accept it is likely to be a stronger option to sign him, but I would go with Diaz, Foden, Pat Roberts & any of the EDS who stake a claim, competing for that spot.

If we had no money left, that's what we would do & just maybe, we would strike gold. It would create a buzz around the ground & extra energy.

But it's dead easy & safe to play Sanchez instead, so that's probably what we will do if we can get him.

You're failing to, or choosing not to take into account that Sanchez would be signed as a player to improve our starting 11 not some squad filler. He's one of the best players in the PL and is comfortably better than all of our forwards bar Kun. The only two City players over recent seasons who have even come close to his mentality is Yaya and Tevez. Both born winners who would drag the team by the scruff of its neck.

To even suggest that you would rather have Roberts or Diaz than a world class player like Sanchez either display a huge lack of knowledge or is blatant wummery, even more so when you consider that you want us to sign Mbappe who would be a bigger detriment to the young lads futures with us.

Well he's not going to announce it via the press, but I bet he's told Arsenal where he see's his future.

You said we'd have had "about 40" players in if we just play them. Go back and read what you wrote.

You seem to be doing a lot of 'not saying' things but still disagreeing vehemently with several posters. I'm done replying to you.

For all our creative quality we don't have enough proven regular goal scorers.

Sanchez is proven to be one of the best goal scorers in the Premier League.

We don't need another Sane, Sterling, Silva or KDB who will chip in now and then, we need another regular goal scoring match winner. We don't have that sort of player in the academy atm who can come in play well for 90 mins and score 20 goals.

If Aguero got injured we would only have a young Jesus to fall back on in terms of regular goal scoring.

Does PEP suggest that our budget might be a problem for a centre-back,is that with or without a forward? i agree with fellow blues regarding a potent finisher ,even Sergio wasnt as deadly last season So imo its a must .based on the total frustration of ending games without 3 points after 90 plus of domination Personally i would keep Mangala if it stops us going balls deep for a goalscorer

I was replying to a specific point.

If you read my previous posts you will see I have clearly admitted Sanchez is likely a more potent choice.

Doesn't change the fact I would prefer not to have him. Edit: it's IN the post you quoted ffs, just read it.

Mbappe is a young player, Sanchez isn't.

I was replying to you saying it should be based on training performances. A lot of the kids are really good in training, so if it was purely based on that, we would havd had about 40 of them in the first team.

I'vd explained it back again & I have no idea why you think I'm lying about it.

I'll say it again: I don't know if ANY of the kids would have made it. I just 'think' a few might.

But if it was based purely on training, they would surely get a lot of chances as training is not real football, & they are fucking good, most of them are, even the lesser lights. So they will 'hold their own' as you put it. Obviously other factors come into play.

I honestly don't know why you can't accept I'm saying that but nothing else I can add really, if you are telling me I mean something else.

I was responding to the fact that you said that you would rather have Roberts, Diaz or Foden in the squad than Sanchez.

Wenger is probably playing a game here. He knows Sanchez will go but, if he goes now he'll be expected to spend the transfer money on a replacement. If he delays it until time runs out he can claim he had no time to get a replacement and bank the money.

Yes I would.

That doesn't mean I've said they are better. They aren't.

Just better for the club imo, & more exciting.

How are three youngsters, two of whom don't even have a PL appearance between them, more exciting and better for the club than one of the best forward players in the world?

I'm struggling to see any reason why this would be the case.
