As I said originally I know I'm in the minority.

Of all the reasons people have offered the most compelling to me is Pep's own view.
The most common one, that he is frustrated, doesn't impress me at all. He's paid a huge amount of money and should do his job professionally; he simply does not do this consistently.

I was really keen that we get him a few years ago before he went to Barca and no doubt he will do much better for us than he did at Arsenal - doesn't change my opinion that he's got an attitude problem though
Pep has managed him he knows his character and still wants him and that's all that matters

And that's my point.
He's paid a shit load of money to play - and because he doesn't want to he (and you seemingly) thinks it's ok to behave like a nine year old who doesn't get his way

I think you're a bit Naive if you don't accept players will act out to get a move, and it's all a part of the game. You think Barcelona care the Dembelé went AWOL to get his move? Not for a second! Do you think none of our signings have ever acted out to get a move before?

He's acting out to force a move he wants because he's a natural born winner and he's decided Manchester City is the place for him to win.

If we drop down to the Europa league and don't win anything for 3 years I'm sure he'll kick up a fuss, but he won't be the only one.

I guess Arsenal won't accept anything below 60m, would be PR-ish for them to save some face if we make him our record signing.

You are right. Let's get him in. I didn't like Carlos much but he gave his all except when he didn't if you get my drift.
I agree with you to an extent. Having a city player smiling on the bench when we are getting leathered would make my blood boil. His antics with that throw in last season feigning injury too. Quality player though.

I knew someone would pull me ha
