If selling a home grown player in Raheem Sterling and buying JFE is true, I`m going to be royally pissed off with Pep Guadiola. Hopefully it all bullshit and we can remain besties
Nothing pep does surprises me.For people trying to justify this hypothetical deal -

Sanchez is 28 and Sterling is 22. Both rack up approx same number of assists. Sanchez has had only one season where he has scored 20+ goals, so basically an anomaly rather than the standard. His goal tally over past seasons is 24, 13, 16, 19, 8, 12, 12, 5, 3, 2, 2, an average of 11 goals all the while playing ~30 matches every season. Sterling is 6-7 goals away from being what Sanchez is right now and he is still 22. This is the most ass backwards deal of the century and I refuse to believe Pep is actually this braindead.
City need to stamp on this so Sterling doesn't have to put up with a load of uneccesary mither.
Heard that Wenger asked for Sterling in part-ex, but we rejected it and offered Denayer plus cash.
Whilst I think it is bullshit, we wouldn't be giving him away for nothing. If we have sterling and 10m then we would be getting our money back on him (which would still be bad business considering how the market has changed)hopes its nothing but rumour. 50m for sterling and then to give away for nothing.... would be pathetic business. Raheem still has years ahead of him... and lots to learn. He has improved over past few years.
Even the fucking MUen are saying it now...mind you it's that twat Robson who's a rag so would take it with a pinch of salt.
No way should we even consider a deal where Raz leaves.
Love to see Sanchez here but not at the cost of losing Sterling...can't see it happening and I hope to fuck it's all paper talk
Wouldnt Sterling be more of an Ox replacement?

Exactly it makes no sense. Sterling at 22 still has got all the potential in the world and if he doesn't fulfill that with us I'd be pissed off!I've been far from Sterlings biggest fan, but if we just give him away as a makeweight for a 29 year old out of contract player in 10 months... after investing 50m in him and improving him over 2 years ...still only 22 and homegrown then I'm done.
