In my opinion it doesn't matter how much a player costs, they shouldn't be expected to take responsibility for an inflated pricetag. But if we trade Sterling then the pressure will really be on Sanchez to play well and justify the move.
Given the current state of Arsenal I don't think anyone with a bit of ambition would really like to go there.Sterling didn't look like someone at the weekend who was open to a move away, I think they know we're gonna get Sanchez and just throwing random shit around to try cause a stir.
I've never been Sterling's biggest fan, but to let a home grown 21 year old go in exchange for a near 29 year old with only a year left on his contract, would be mental. Sterling is a very useful asset to the club and I'd be astonished if this were anything other than horseshit from a known muck raking gooner journalist. What exactly does your own source say?
One of the unknown's in this 'story' is Raheem's view. He might have indicated that he wasn't averse to going back to London, should the opportunity arise.
Then again, it could all be nothing....
Sky reporting they also interested in Aguero!!!! lol!!

Man City will make offer for Alexis Sanchez. Willing to offer Raheem Sterling to Arsenal as part of deal. 1 source says Arsenal want Aguero
It's absolute fucking madness and the top brass at the club need fucking off for sanctioning this.
Yeah, I mean watching them v Liverpool he might be thinking " I fancy a bit of that" told Txiki & he contacted Arsenal, then told Raheem " I've sorted it, you are off to Arsenal"
"I meant Liverpool you stupid ****!"
Let's face it, they'd have to fucking kidnap him.
My thoughts too. We've not done a swap deal for as long as I remember. As I said earlier, this is Arsenal's media, probably to appease their fans. Chill guys... if Sanchez really wants the move, he'll help make it happen. Think it'll be a take it leave it on or near deadline day, and certainly not for the amounts quoted in the Arsenal mouthpiece press.Whatever anyone thinks about the rights and wrongs of any potential swap deals, I just don't see any top City player wanting to go to Arsenal. I mean Aguero over the past few years, could have probably gone to any club in world football had he wished to do so. I cant believe he would want to go to Arsenal now. Same with Sterling, if they cant get Ox or Sanchez to sign a new deal, why on gods earth would Sterling think it was a good move for him?
They cant all play upfront.
is our team stronger WITH sanchez or stronger WITH Sterling.
Someone has to make way, otherwise there are not enough places on the bench/ in the team to accommodate all these attacking players.
It should just be a straight swap though.
Shiny new toy syndromeIt's the ones on here who would do the deal that enrage me, not that there may be truth in it
