Why does he always talk in such controversial, provocative terms?
If he ends up doing for us at the end of the season what RVP did for them then I for one would consider him to have been worth the transfer fee.So Arsenal seemingly spent the Summer refusing to negotiate the transfer of Sanchez, and after their defeat at Anfield they have realised that they simply have to sell him to rebuild their team morale. What are they going to do if they don't sell him? Have him play with the Academy players and let him rot for a season?
They've misread the situation, and found they have to sell him. But there is absolutely no point in trying to read what is going to happen with this transfer now. Arsenal have operated irrationally throughout and it will probably continue. I'd be quite happy if he stays where he is. I think he might improve City in the very short term, but we'd probably have to buy again very soon to replace either Aguero and or Sanchez so for me this is far from ideal and reminds me very much of the RVP transfer

He's only 28. He's in his prime.Agreed, but lets hope to last a lot longer than the one season the dutch rapist did

He will sign today then!
Just remember that it may not be so easy to buy a young replacement forward in 12 months time if we have Aguero, Sanchez and Jesus on the books. It depends on how long you see Sanchez operating at last seasons level. If he ends up doing for us at the end of the season what RVP did for them then I for one would consider him to have been worth the transfer fee.
If they came to us around £70M but I would expect us to repeat mistakes from the past were we hang on to players 12 months too long then struggle to sellGenuine question. If someone came in for Aguero today and we said ok, what fee would you be expecting?
