Haha. Sure.I still think more chance of this than him joining City. Thought he'd have signed by now though but I think it depends on Arsenals form in December.

If Arsenal had been playing well he'd have 're signed by now. If he doesn't I will be first to admit I was wrong.Haha. Sure.

You were wrong then and you’re wrong now.If Arsenal had been playing well he'd have 're signed by now. If he doesn't I will be first to admit I was wrong.

Sanchez can play wide or central. How much longer can we continue to play the same team across 3/4 competitions without risking burnout or fatigue injuries. He worked very hard as he always does, but we don't need him.
We have 5 forwards and Foden and Diaz. If Sanchez comes in, then we halt the development of our own players
Sanchez has made it very clear he won't extend his contract. Even if we don't sign him, there will be a queue for his signature including Bayern, Juventus, PSG & ManUre.If Arsenal had been playing well he'd have 're signed by now. If he doesn't I will be first to admit I was wrong.

We wont be signing Sanchez on a 6 month contract so you have to think ahead and how Foden and Diaz can fit inSanchez can play wide or central. How much longer can we continue to play the same team across 3/4 competitions without risking burnout or fatigue injuries.
Sanchez proved yesterday why he'd be a brilliant addition to us. We had 3 players surrounding him at one point & he managed to wriggle past all of them to lay off a good pass & set up an Arsenal attack.
Foden & Diaz are young & need to be introduced gradually, & training/playing alongside the likes of the Silva's, KDB & possibly Sanchez will do them the world of good.
As it stands, without Sterling &/or Sane, we will again have to change how we play, just as we did when we lost Mendy. However if we were without all 3, we'd struggle. Sanchez gives us options mate.

Pep having worked with him means he knows what he's getting so I don't see an issue. Arm waving etc is probably because he's stuck in a shit team and doesn't want to be there.Obviously a top class player and we are defo short of numbers up top if injuries or loss of form kick in.
But is he the wrong man to bring in? Bit of the old me-me monster going on, arm waving, moaning etc.
How would he cope with a spell on the bench?
Surely one of very biggest pluses this season is that team morale is at an all time high - Rodney Marsh anybody?
Foden & Sanchez are kids who have their whole careers ahead of them, however we need these reinforcements now. Think about the Wolves match. We weren't able to even do what Arsenal did and change all 11 players and retain some level of competitiveness. We've always sought to have 2 teams and be able to rotate and cover without an appreciable drop in performance and adding the likes of Sanchez moves us toward that.We wont be signing Sanchez on a 6 month contract so you have to think ahead and how Foden and Diaz can fit in
yesterday Jesus and Bernardo were on the bench.
He has 1 goal to his name in the league. Just how effective is he in the final third? At what will be 29, and given his past reliance on basic speed, his current season has more relevance than the last.
Guardiola may have some loyalty towards Sanchez, but his first obligation is towards the existing squad and the interests of MCFC, therefore I think he'll change his mind and trust in what he has
I trust Pep's judgement too, but I also feel he may feel some obligation towards the player possibly having given his word we'll go back in for him in January - meanwhile his form demonstrates what was predicted.Foden & Sanchez are kids who have their whole careers ahead of them, however we need these reinforcements now. You talk about Sanchez's lack of pace, but have you considered that Gundogan, KDB, D Silva, B Silva, Fernandinho & Toure aren't exactly like shit of a hot shovel in the speed stakes? Sanchez has never been known as a speed merchant and I saw enough yesterday to suggest he has more than enough speed to fit in at City. Sanchez only has 1 goal this season which is fact. However, how many goals do Gundogan, KDB, D Silva, B Silva, Fernandinho & Toure have in a team who have smashed all kinds of records this season so far? By your metric, we should be looking to ship them out because of their lack of goals.
Talking about Sanchez effectiveness in the final third. Have you considered his wanting to move is because he's realised that even at his best he can't elevate Arsenal above fighting for 4th most seasons? Messi is probably the best player there's ever been, but if he was to move to WBA or WHU, would that make them title contenders? One player can make a significant difference, but NOT when you have teams of the strength we have in the Premier League.
Finally, I trust Pep's judgement. Yesterday I imagined Sanchez playing for City and I'm happy to say I was more than happy with what I saw just as City, Arsenal, Juve, PSG & Bayern must. Just because some fans can't see this or share this vision, doesn't make Sanchez to City a Rodney Marsh style error in the making.
I'm very much in this school of thought.
He gives us a strong option to rest up key attacking players, and given we are looking at something like a 70 game season, we do run a high risk of fatigue, injury and burn-out.
I very much agree with these sentiments. I honestly believe that the vast improvement in Sterling's application is because he's aware that we're looking to bring in reinforcements, so his first choice place will be under serious threat. It's about what his signing does mentally for our opponents.
Sane and Sterling can't and won't be relied upon for much longer, both are neglecting some fundamentals which only come with the youth and rawness they possess.
We are not playing under pressure at present, which is when players and personalities such as Sanchez will be needed, outside of injuries to Kun or Jesus.
