Only 1 player that played the group stage of Europa league can be registered in UCL.
Both Sanchez and Martinez played there.
Martinez is more needed now .. an underrated ball playing center back who can also play left back.

One draw and this thread has got some serious traction. Strange that it's always and only the last match that counts.
The injury to KDB was always going to happen because to maim him is the only way to stop him. If the ref's had more bollocks and sent the likes of Ali and Puncheon off for these horrific tackles it would set the president. Instead we are approaching a crucial part of the season, where we've had previous wobbles with no Kev and no Dave. He's the difference for me. Aguero is way off it, as is Sane and Bernardo hasn't done anything wrong this season. Sanchez will provide goals and a threat.

How have they managed to do that? I thought all loans were 12 months i.e. Maffeo with no early 'get out'. If it was a 6 month loan then he's just finished his loan.Arsenal has recalled Lucas Perez who is on loan to Deportivo La Coruna. Hes a poor man's Alexis Sanchez .. I guess Sanchez deal is on its way to being done!

I presume Arsenal loaned until 31st December. We chose to loan until 30th June along with most of our other players out on loan.

Its a clause inserted in the contract .. both clubs must agree on it when signing .. usually clubs refuse to accept such clause as it might make their squads shorter midseason .. Arsenal had the upper hand in this loan as Depor were so desperate to get him! City usually dont insert such clause because we usually dont need our youngsters .. Lucas Perez is not a youngster!

There is nothing stopping the loaning club from putting in a recall clause. Happens all the time. If we don't, I am sure we have our reasons.

We have to, surely. Can't go 2 months with just one fit striker, especially given we're in 4 competitions. We can't sit back and go with what we have. Just pay what it takes to keep this hunt for 4 trophies (or even 1!) going.
