TBH if it was all about the money, surely he would have gone to PSG in the summer which would have given him the added bonus of not having to return to the shambles that is Arsenal for even one match. As we've seen before, you only get one chance to say yes to Pep. Sanchez clearly did that in summer and Arsenal dropped the ball. Same now. If he even looks at the rags, Pep would walk away. That's not too say that his agent won't talk to them or others, as that's his job. If for any other reason City pull out (serious injury to a defender say which means the money has to go elsewhere in a hurry), then Sanchez should at least have a back up plan. But it's clear from summer that he only 'wants' one manager.

I also suspect the information started with Mino Raiola who is regarded with contempt by City and represents Mkhitaryan who stands to benefit from a Sanchez swap deal. Raiola is close to Jim White and Cross who were really pushing the United swoop story. It also suits Maureen because he has a grudge against Pep. These morons in the media must think us fans are stupid. It seems a lot of people swallow this sort of fake news..or choose to believe it. Raiola also represents Zlatan and Lukaku so you can be sure he certainly owes the Rags a few favours.

He'd play a shit load of games at us, PSG, Bayern or united. Nobody is going to buy Sanchez and not play him and just because united are considerably shitter than the other teams who have wanted to buy him doesn't mean he would play every single game there anyway because it is 2018 and it just doesn't happen at decent sized clubs anymore. If he is happy to play for also rans like united purely on the basis that he'd get more games, he may as well stay with his current also rans for a few months and take a huge signing on fee in the summer. Which ever way I slice this, given the choices he has made over his career, it just doesn't add up that he will choose united. But it is football, so you never know I suppose.
