If Jesus is back in 2-3 weeks as Pep says, Arsenal have lost another edge on us, we could wait till summer or they could cash in now and get what they can.

Not entertining the rag bollocks as it is just that, bollocks

I think Arsenal are hoping United can convince Sanchez.

That offer of £25m + Henrikh Mkhitaryan is an unbelievable deal for Arsenal.

Jose for me is the reason Mkhitaryan has suffered at United. He can resurrect his career at Arsenal as the football is right up his street. He can be the player that win the Bundesliga player of the year in 2016.

Arsenal want Malcolm to replace Sanchez.
Malcolm has third party ownership issues.
By Arsenal standards and their reluctance to fork out money means deal may not happen.
Again they will end up paying more anyway so too much complications.
Wenger would prefer Sanchez to stay rather pin hopes on raw talent to drag them

Annnnnnd we couldn't give a shit mate.

Of course it is.

It would be for me, it would be for you, it would be for all of us on here, so it certainly will be for footballers when you’re talking about the money they get...

If you could earn £15m now but £30m in the Summer, name one sane person who’d take the £15m?

He might figure that this could change if he gets a serious injury between now and May.

Or he may just have had enough of the atmosphere from other players who cannot wait to see the back of him.

Sometimes £15 million pounds is peanuts to very rich footballers.

It is quite possible he feels a bit let down by City not really pushing to get him this month. And is letting his agent talk to United in the hope we will send in the cavalry and offer enough to Arsenal to get him out of there.

His agent will want that fee, of course. Sanchez might be happy with less to play for Pep and just wants us to offer enough to Arsenal to rescue him now.

well if it happens it happens, won't lose any sleep over it, rags will have spunked a shit load of money and sacraficed a player just to get one up on us, sad bastards.

Honestly don't see the problem. If the figures being bandied around are in any way accurate, no way will City pay that. It's not just about what it costs for him, the moment they agree to it there'll be a queue of players lining up asking for a pay rise - why on earth would they risk that kind of disruption?

If he wants to come, there's the deal. If he doesn't, then he is welcome to go somewhere where they will. Either way, City are content. All players have a value, if far more than that is being demanded, then not only will it not happen, it shouldn't.

Agree.

The money being branded about in the media is utterly ridiculous.

£25m signing on bonus + agents fee’s + £300k a week + a transfer fee to Arsenal.

Sack it off.

I think one thing that we forget is who exactly we are dealing with here. Out of all of Europe's top clubs, who else other than arsenal would allow the possibility of their two best players to leave on a free with seemingly no replacements lined up in advance?
They're incredibly disorganised in the recruitment department which will only lead to this deal dragging out longer.
At least clubs like Liverpool manage to get good money for their players when they leave, arsenal lose their best players for next to nothing
