As far as I’m aware City have told the agent and Alexis to forget it. If they go back from here I’d be amazed (but probably shouldn’t be given how mad City transfers are)

Would take a major u-turn from City, in terms of principles and finances, to sign him now

It is what it has been for days now. Up to Sanchez and his agent. Take the money and rot. Or take less and thrive.

No surprise he is struggling.

But if City are not budging on price as seems evident then it is back where we started - with Sanchez.

You would think he would have decided though if we pulled out yesterday.

Unless he is reassessing the stay to June option where huge money from many clubs may be on offer given no transfer fee.

Arsenal then would be panicking as they know they messed up last Summer when they gambled on Sanchez signing a new deal if they kept him.

So no surprise they will be pressing United to get it done as we sit smiling to see if it all implodes.

Probably won't, but you never know.

I read his stuff for a few weeks but found his manner so vile and big-headed that I couldn't bear reading it and left. Which doesn't mean he's itk or wum, ....

I agree, he is one of the few so called ITK's that I actually trust, good track record, and very detailed.

Seems a bit full of himself but his page is a good read and he posts in good faith.
