Well, it's not as bad as losing 3-1 to Swindon in the League Cup

We were shite from 1994 to 1997... but yeah, it's not great.

I'm trying to convince myself that humility is good for the soul. But you need to get perspective.

Currently reading the Book of Job. Jesus, he had to put up with some shite. So, all things considered, it could be worse.

Though I'm hoping rivers don't turn to blood and we don't get a plague of locusts.

Think its the fact that we had agreed terms then United came in and Alexis (his agent) came to us saying "Look what they offered" not sure its about what people think just Pep and the board sticking to the basis of if its agreed its agreed you don't go back on it. Alexis and agent own fault really...probs could've been wrapped up if they didn't move the terms..
 
Now talk of Wenger wanting Martial in the deal , sounds like Sanchez is not that keen on joining , chelsea now 3-1 to sign him , this is all very confusing

It's possible that the way we are going about this, is good old reverse psychology.

After stringing Sanchez last summer with our interest, us publicly saying now that he's not worth more than what we tabled before, might spur Sanchez to consider coming here to prove that he is as good as Aguero, KdB or Silva. That is if he has an interest in proving the footballer that he is.

If he goes for the money, which is fair enough as trophies don't buy food and other luxuries for his family and extended families, then that's all there is. We move on with buying someone who actually wants to be under Pep. He moves on with playing hoofball.
