Like two or three in our squad he's stayed a season too long. I bear him no ill, and wish him all the best for the future. However the time is right to leave, so Bon Voyage.

Mr Ed showing your age there - I remember you use to say stuff like that when someone knocked your pint over on those pub crawls round Rammy in the early 80's !!!! As for Kolarov he was probably as quick to chase the opposition striker as you were to get to the bar !!!! Personally, I think it was more than one season too long for Aleksander.

He arrived with a reputation for taking incredibly powerful free kicks like psycho. Most of the time, they didn't seem that powerful.
All I can say is that referee that he supposedly knocked out must have a worse chin than amir Khan.

As many have already said....there are a couple of players that have stayed a year or two longer than they should have and Kolarov is one of them....wish him all the best but needed to go....That Southampton game was the last straw for me.....

Good player, not a great but good. I liked him and had time for him.

What he did have though was a tendency to drift and lack concentration and effort which was always in my view when the entire team did it. When the team was focused he was good when the team lost focus he was dire.

Not the greatest defender but the game has moved on in that position over the years.

The right player at the right time and could potentially do a job in a rotation for another season for us.

Good luck fella and thanks for the good times and the city tv laughs

I think that if we had signed the player we thought Kolarov was (fast left back with exciting attacking ability, great shots, crosses, who can get back quickly to defend agressively) we would have won the league every season.

Unfortunately we got Kolarov a one footed, unitelligent plodder who occasionally has a ten game spell where he looks like a player before letting us down completely, again.

I wish him nothing but good luck in his future career & look forward to his departure with the eagerness of a 100 mil signing.

:( did we get our hopes up to early?
