Good luck Alex, &, despite what all the doom merchants, on here say, thanks for some great memories

If Zab goes too, and For all A.K's faults defensively, It looks like we're gonna lose the two most dangerous crossers of the ball into the opposition's box, at the club.

We might miss that aspect of his game, along with his ability to take a free kick, more than we realise, now he's gone.

After all Beckham could do f*ck all else, yet it was constantly rammed down our throats, in his time, by the media, that he was the greatest footballer ever to play the game.

Well said, amazes me on here - virtually everything I read says the same about Sagna/Clichy - 'I know they don't offer much going forward but...' But what? Neither offer very much at all really, Zabs is now past it but was a great RB, Micah before him same, and Kolarov despite everything has a fantastic left foot and really had his moments for us.The 2 fullbacks we're left with struggle with almost every aspect of what you need in a top fb today. No pace, little talent, lack composure, nose bleed anywhere past the halfway line. We are absolutely desperate at both fb positions, start the season again with those two we're in trouble.

Can't really hate on Kola. His good outweighed the bad for the most part. Last year was just really disappointing overall. Good luck to him in Turkey.

He helped us to win trophies, and I appreciate all what he has done to the club.
We bought him for 16m and he was worth it, but maybe its time to move on.

Hard to dislike a player* that's been here for 6 years and in one of the most successful periods in the clubs history. Also when he first came he was an improvement on Michael Ball, Javier Garrido and Wayne Bridge etc...Those are the nicest words I can really say.

*However, for 5 and half/6 years I have said he is nowhere near good enough and his lazy, half-arsed attitude isn't good enough. Southampton away this year was a new low for him however, one of the most disgraceful displays i've ever seen from a professional footballer (he should have never have played for us again after that).

Wish him well in Turkey but glad to see him go and will sleep better knowing he wont be playing left back for us next year.

some of the horrible rag like comments on here are a disgrace. mard fuckers.

thank you Alex, yes you faded but thanks for your part in our development. good luck .

Agreed, he has been a big part of our rise, at times frustrating but also times when he was outstanding.

That said I lost a lot of respect for him after the Southampton game, where I thought his performance was disgraceful.

Thank you Mr Kolarov and good luck

I'm cutting our players a little slack. They must have been properly pissed off at the managers methods and tactics. They like us could see he was off his rocker.

It's the right time for him to go, but he played his part in our recent successes, so I wish him all the best.

I can forgive being shit. We've seen enough of that over the years. Kolarov wasn't shit (often). What I can't forgive is that he only put a shift in when he felt like it.
