I think he was pretty much out for 2 years from 14-16 with serious knee injuries which probably set his development back a lot
Yep,that was it.
He has been on the radar for a long time though,he was expected to be a worldie as a youngster and the usual 'Messi' comparisons were being banded about.

Agree Blackburn didn’t look great, and not getting carried away, but I think Alfie will score goals this season, he clearly knows where the goal is for a midfielder. Also think this group will be challenging for PL North again, but early days as you sayBlackburn are awful, let’s not get carried away here haha looking at last season the lad seemed to score most his goals against Blackburn

Based on Gomez and DeBruyne being absent, Harrison or another EDS player may well be on the bench.No chance, he would have been there just to make up the numbers.
Pep may not bother filling the bench but Haaland may also be missing which frees up 3 to 4 spots
