alienware

Build your own, much better value for money.

My desktop is packing an I7 2600k overclocked to 4.5ghz, and two gtx 580s in SLI.

I have a 120 gb SSD, and a 1 tb 6gbs HDD. I have a rewritable Blu-ray drive too.

Would shit all over that quoted Alienware over-priced gimmicky shite, and you could build one yourself with greater performance for less or certainly no more money.

If you buy OEM parts you can really push the performance/value for money perimeters.

I've used them before, and it's worth a look if you're considering an upgrade or an altogether new desktop pc.

Quote me where I said you'd save as much as half.

And you needn't tell me why I wouldn't, I wouldn't because it's relatively time consuming and not worthwhile if you're doing it for a complete stranger for nothing more than a pat on the back.

You could buy a custom built pc, but they charge from around £200 on top of the value of the pc and its components. An unnecessary expenditure, hence my advice - build it yourself.

If you want to waste your money on overpriced shiny gimmicks, go ahead, it's your money.

On Thursday I drove a friend to Scan, he bought all his components for his own custom pc.

Took him a few hours and it was built.

if you don't know how to do it there's plenty of videos on Youtube showing you.
