Painting those spindles on the staircase can be a nightmare.

...especially when your dog likes chewing them, check the bottom of the one on the left!

Whoever installed those balusters was drunk, they're not an equal distance apart, they're not plumb, no way do they meet the building code, a child's head could easily fit through the bottom two. Will be contacting the council about this flagrant disregard of code b12-str, thank you and goodnight!

...again, that was the dog's fault, used to be able to slip through the gaps between the 'balusters' but as he got a little bigger it became more of a squeeze until the point he broke one off. Another DIY job I've never got round to finishing!
