So, all we heard after City beat Arsenal was that City’s starting 11 cost 4 x more than Arsenal’s and the winner was scored by a striker who cost 35 million. City winning was therefore no achievement, they effectively bought the win.

Well, United’s starting 11 cost around 70 (seventy) x more than Palace’s and included a 32 million striker.....

A truly bloody hilarious result.

rag attendance tonight 52,624. not bad until you consider there were 24,000 empty seats despite being able to tap into a bottomless pit of plastics to take the places of the premier league regulars who couldn't be arsed going. in the second half of extra time the rag masses couldn't take any more & there was acres of space in the stand opposite the cameras.

the city is theirs.

You forget the 7000 Palace fans that weren't there.

It was hilarious, amongst many other hilarious things tonight, like Macheda and Diouf.

if you add the 8,000 corporate seats , that never showed up and 7,000 palace supporters , there were approx 37,000 rags at the swamp tonight , i am going to enjoy their slow painful demise.
