All of you who want Hughes instead of Bobby have a look

I liked Mark Hughes and thought he was doing a good job. However he is the past now and it is far too early to make judgements on Mancini. The team are now is in the top 4 which is great news and the manager must be supported and given time.

It isn't a case of Hughes or Mancini......the football that we're watching at the moment is terrible... end of. Anyone that says that they are enjoying our sideways passing system must want their head feeling, good luck to the team and to Mancini because he's the person currently in charge but if this is what we have to put up with over the next three years then i'd have to think carefully about whether to watch the match or to count the blades of grass in my back garden. The best thing to come out of this season has been finding a new city podcast on itunes called The Monday supplement..... very funny, takes the piss out of City and United..... makes you remember the time when we all had a sense of humour!!

Do you not remember this <a class="postlink" href="http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2008-2009/table/2008-12-21" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.statto.com/football/stats/en ... 2008-12-21</a>

and look at the table compared to now and when he left:

Have you already forgotten about everything by now? 4 wins 10 draws 14 losses from the 28 away games in charge. That is 22 poins out of 84. 4 wins in 28 FFS... Teams have been relegated with a better record than that.

I was never a Hughes outer but please open your eyes. How many more millions and how much time did you want to give him? He didn't surround himself with anyone that actually could have really helped him. Would he ever have wanted someone like Brian Kidd? I think not. Do you really think a big name Brazilian, Italian, Spanish primadonna or whoever would listen to someone with the credentials like Hughes or someone like Mancini who already has achieved something?

PMSL at the Carlsberg post for distorting stats....

In the league table from Dec 08 in the first link Citys Home Record was W4 D0 L5...Agree?

Fact: City finished the season with a home record of W13 D0 L6 Agree?

Fact: So, under Mark Hughes the home record of W13 D0 L6 was the 3rd best in the PL behind Chelski and Scum. I repeat the 3rd best in the PL for 2008/2009

Fact: Under Mark Hughes and before his sacking in current season his home record was W5 D3 L0. Since your league table from Dec 08 the total home record for Hughes was W14 D3 L1. I think that is brilliant. Well done Mark Hughes. And for that time period since your league table W14 D3 L1 was only bettered by 1 team - Chelski. And what do som many on here do? Go on about the 3 fooking draws. Amazing.

Fact: Away record for Hughes has been shit. But, W2 D5 L2 was an improvement on last season and included visits to 4 of our 6 main rivals: Scum, Liverpool, Villa and Spuds.

Fact: Away record under Mancini has been shit so far W1 D1 L2....

By the way, I wasn't a Hughes inner. But I think the guy in charge now is a clown. Sure he has got a good CV but the defensive mentality does my head in.

Come on guy's, we need to show a little more loyalty with Roberto, with the bad form the players are showing were still quietly creeping towards our objective of champions league places. If you Remember, Ranieri went through a similar process before Mourinho took them to glory. I believe this transition period will take a while but inevitably with the sheik's ambition & clout I believe we'll have the best players in the world wearing blue shirt within two years. Hughes had his chance and didn't take it now it somone else's turn.

Come on you blues!!!!!!!

you cant argue with figures Manc has got us in 4th when Hughes left we were 6 points off 4th

so under Manc we have progressed (without a full strength team)
