'All Or Nothing' - NO SPOILERS! - no content discussion

It’s only the Mail reporting this ‘moaning’. Charles Sale reported almost exactly the same story a month ago, when he was ‘breaking’ the story and it I s a brilliant example of how not to write an article. “A source said, a spokesman commented, some commercial organisation will be furious.”
Because it seems to paint Sky and or BT in a bad light, the Mail seems to have become the Washington Post as it breaks the amazon-gate story!

Charles Sale is actually very good. He picks up a great deal of gossip and is obviously hearing a lot of whining about this.

In his area of journalism, if he didn't use "a source said", every contact that he has would never speak to him again.

Yes, he specialises in sports gossip, so it's hit and miss inevitably, but he has enough hits to be worth paying attention to, even with the usual provisos. I do enough blog writing on cricket to know for a fact the authorities have dismissed his stuff as tittle tattle when he's actually been spot on.

He's a muck-raker who will turn the slightest, implied criticism of someone or something into a major story. Someone will say to him "I'm not sure that's the best thing X could have said" and he'll turn that into "The world of football has turned on X after his claim. One source told me 'I think he's lost the plot completely' "

Exactly.

What's especially good, is that our "series" will be part of the Prime fee.. which most people seem to have nowadays. Not hidden behind SKY paywalls like CFC/LFC and MUTV paywalls.

Film 45, the production company run by Friday Night Lights’ Peter Berg, has teamed up with Spanish producer Mediapro and IMG to produce Amazon’s series about Manchester City FC. [Deadline]

I don't have the link but heard on TS that the Times are reporting that the rags have banned any filming at the swamp this weekend for the derby connected to this feature.

And to think some people didn't believe there was a link between United and Sky.

Since 1992 I think the whole thing has been a sham.

United seem to be objecting to their tunnel etc. being potentially over crowded.

Maybe Amazon will have to re-think, adjust and use smaller cameras (Go Pros?), perhaps on selective support staff? like some David Attenborough nature documentary.

I got a 30 day free pass to Amazon video in the post the other day. Wonder if City are sharing our details with them? Not that it bothers me, Amazon know me better than some of my family members!

Incidentally, If you know someone with a Prime account, they can authorise up to 4 devices so just get their login and you’re sorted.

Thought it was just 2 devices? Are you in U.K. or elsewhere?
