All the new George Bests

Every club in the PL will have at least one teenager on their books who is fast and tricky with a decent shot on him and also full of the confidence that comes with youth... and if thrown into the first team and allowed a completely free role to just do whatever he wants and be as selfish as he likes would look just as good as any of united's so called "wonder kids" when they first burst on to the scene.

As soon as they're required to play as part of a system and do their share of TEAM work they suddenly look very very ordinary and that's why all united's "wonder kids" rapidly fade into obscurity.

I like asking the rags when that kid they signed from our youth team who 'scored 600 goals' Charlie McNeil is making his debut.

This time last season, and during the summer with England, he was the greatest thing of all time. Yes; including sliced bread. This season, he's disappeared like a fart in the wind.
I remain totally convinced that the only reason they got giddy about a bang average footballer was because his name sounds a bit like 'Man U'.

Just like 'Hojlund' sounds a bit like 'Haaland'.

I am having a discussion with a united supporting colleague about united overhyping their youngsters
I am having trouble remembering all the new george bests they have had over the last 10 - 15 years

I have already got

jizjaz
rashford
jessie lingard
chris eagles
Danny welbeck
Macheda
ravell morrison
Cleverley
pogba
McNair
Tooanzebe (? spelling)
Greenwood
Elanga
Hannibal
I would get rid of the George Best part it seems more name a young shit rag player

Sanchez, could win a game on his own for the tarquins, goes to the swamp and is worse than that fat kid at school that was always last when teams were picked and there was an argument over how many goal start the team that took him had.

Posted on the page before by @liamctid who says he can’t get into Sheffield Weds team.

Hilarious isn't it. The kid scored so many because he was in the reserves of the youth team playing shite tournaments and in second rate Leagues. Delap was in his age bracket and was always rated higher.

Hang on , you're suggesting they actually have a system ?
