Why does AI art look like that?

Always makes me laugh when you see lonely men in the comments of Instagram telling the AI girl how sexy she is.

And do they reply to you?

In 2 years we won't know the difference and augmented reality will, truly, be around the corner.

Some people in the comments are already fooled by it.

I know many people on here regard the BBC as untrustworthy/biased but bearing in mind how many people rely on the Internet for news it's quite concerning. AI in general bothers me a lot, surely it's only as good as the programmers who wrote the code and the potential cock-ups if it goes wrong are quite scary, you've even got politicians touting it as a great boost for the NHS etc etc.

I love my apple AI as when my wife sends me things on TikTok, it allows me to simply ignore the notifications quite well.
