All things AI.

anybody tried Perplexity new AI Labs feature (it's part of the pro subscription). You can select/use a number of models (ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Gemini) but the new AI labs feature you can create some really insightful deep research analysis and now with visuals/dashboards. Research that would have taken a couple of day now created in 10 minutes and less hallucinogenic.

I'd like to know when they are going to get Google Nest and other voice activated hw using AI chatbots. Now that is going to be revolutionary for us plebs. That will change life.

I also saw an AI air fryer a while back, where you just put your food in it and it works out what it is, how long to cook etc. Not sure that's AI really but it was ingenious.

Yeah, this is actually a mindf'k how SCARY AI is getting! It just needs tweaks for the small mistakes and it's gonna be dangerous!

Just remember, you don't own your own images.

Unless Gov legislation kicks in people could be set up for some crimes and/ or 'false flag' ops to legitimate wars or whatever.

AGI is surely only 1 or 2 years away at most now. And then ASI will followed soon after.

We will look back soon in 2025 as the last year in human history before EVERYTHING got turned upside down.

Hold on to your hats.

AI is only as good as the information that is sitting in it's data banks, the move to Agentic AI is scary, this is where the machine can make decisions on your behalf. These systems need clear rules enforcing. To be fair organisations are still nervous about the use of AI especially if they don't have clear policies, standards & guardrails set up but the problem is some leading Tech manager insists on the use of it and will try and shoe horn it in to the org.

It is a scary topic.
