All things Jack Grealish

So they agreed to £50m but want to pay £20m. Damn

I thought that ? Was it a right-to-buy loan

Forget getting a good fee for Jack if Everton doesn't want him. But I don't see it as a loss because Jack won us the treble and we got very good money in prize money.

I will say it's sad that the demons still haunt him, when he had a kid I thought ok maybe this is the turning point and he will knuckle down. Jack is a special player and like him or not, on his day wins you games. When you need a player to get you up the field and hold the ball jack is the best at it.

Pretty much my thoughts too. If they only want to pay £20m I'm sure they'll be a few clubs interested at that price. I'd be surprised if Villa wouldn't want him back at £20m

It’s mad considering he was their main man not very long ago but right now I don’t think they would. Villa are better than Grealish.

He will play for us again.

He won’t join Everton in June. They’d have to pay wages of around 200k a week in June and July if he did. No one will want to pay a million in wages for 2 summer months.

He will join someone in August so he will have a couple of pre season games with the kids as most of our players will be resting after the World Cup.

It’ not £20m though. When you factor in wages it’s a huge commitment for a team not in Europe.

When you factor in his age, his off field activities and the fact he has missed half the league games in the last 3 seasons I cannot see anybody signing him permanently.

He will go out on loan till his contract ends at City.

Book value will come in to play this summer imo.

My feeling is the club will accept decent offers in the summer, £25m plus

If none are forthcoming, I predict he will be converted to a more central role as a squad player, and offers will continue to be listened to

Just my opinion like

At the moment, Jack is still in recovery and is still at Everton getting treatment
Come June, he will be a Manchester City player again and will have to report for pre-season training, so maybe he will be on the pre-season tour and in the squad

It is likely Everton will be liable to the end of June like with standard PFA contracts.

Everton are paying his wages at the moment and he's not even kicking a ball for them

When did we start including wages in the transfer fee? It was never a thing until we got Haaland, Cherki and Donna for peanuts....

He doesn't have 'demons' ....he has always chosen to have a few beers and a party, rather than dedicate himself to being the best he can be at his job....and he is happy to be like that. Whatever has happened and/or will happen is simply his choice, and warrants zero sympathy.

so reckon £17m book value left on final year of his contract, so anything above that would be positive. I reckon he'll go for £25m

Drinking a few beers ?? Jack has been getting wasted since the treble and has never come down, in my book that is demons, the drink and maybe marching powder getting the best of him over his football career
