Everton fan mate with a connection at the club told me yesterday that Jack tripped over or stood on a Champagne bottle while, erm, relaxing - obvs not being admitted publicly. If true, he is his own worst enemy.

at this point I cannot confirm - he may well have stress fracture, what caused it is (as yet) unknown - but my contact has no agenda - however, given net driven gossip etc, I'm not gonna swear on Bible just yetSo they are lying about the stress fracture then? A stress fracture of your foot caused by a fall as a consequence of standing on a champagne bottle is a pretty cool way to get injured, depending on which champagne I suppose.
