All things Jack Grealish

So many people very easily swayed by his likeable personality. If he was good enough for us, we wouldn't have shipped out our record signing to Everton on loan. Wish him all the best, always going to have that iconic treble picture but he simply isn't good enough and needs to move on for everybody's benefit. Anybody thinking he would get in the side ahead of Doku has brain damage.

Good people are hard to find. We have 5 at least in the squad now not good enough.

Jack contributed a lot to our success, many in the squad have flattered to deceive.

He is good enough. Off field issues can be eased. Foden going through whatever he is going through. I remember stones having some issues as well.

Good people. That’s what the club needs.

So you think we have too many players not good enough and you want to add somebody who was shipped out because he wasn't good enough?

You say he is good enough, but he isn't, that's why he was sent to midtable Everton where he didn't exactly set the world alight for them either.

Raheem sterling contributed to a lot of our success and is supposedly a lovely guy. Why don't we get him back aswell of we're just looking for nice people that have helped us bring success.

Yes we have at least 5 players who are not good enough. Jack proved he was good enough but went off the rails after the treble. Maybe bit more humble now after the loan?

Sterling had a run in with the club/pep at some point so not surprised by his absence.

The point is we are looking meh at present. I would ship out 5. Get the midfield sorted and have Jack back. Next season that would be enough to keep us in the mix.
 
I loved seing Jack tonight and I really hope he gets himself fit and plays regularly next season. Once a blue always a blue, and Jack is one of the most likeable of lads.

Apart from the obvious one's who are off mine would be,

Can't think of a fifth.

A year ago Nunes would have been the fifth but he has come through. Could we say the same of the 4 above?

Nunes is brilliant character. To come back and claim RB. Brilliant story and one Jack could emulate if that’s an option?

Kova?
Lewis? Didn’t play much but needs to go for himself.
Trafford? Hope he stays and fights but he might be pissed off.
Ait? He ain’t done much.

The above players you mentioned, shows a real poor effort at recruitment. Cant afford another window like that.

3 proper additions and we will be competitive again. Midfield is the main issue.

He proved himself good enough in 2023. Then proved he wasn't good enough in the 3 years since to the point where our record signing leaves on loan to a midtable club.

If we are looking meh, you want to ship out the players that aren't good enough and replace them with better, you don't replace them with somebody we previously shipped out for not being as good as the players now deemed not good enough. Getting the midfield sorted doesn't involve bringing back Grealish.

I would like him back if he can handle it.

Functional being the operate word. Talent can spiral at any time.

I wouldn't say he wasn't good enough, I would say he didn't have the hunger after the treble (there is no shame in that), but he could'nt mentally go again after the treble! (Diaz & Foden have been just the same, and look scared)!

I love how, people call him a £100m flop and Declan Rice the best England player since Gazza!

Jack Grealish has won more trophies for City than the whole England squad (excluding City players) combined!

Foden won the player of the year after the treble.

What did Mendy win compared to Grealish? The metric can be misleading.

When has he ever turned up for work and been a dickhead? I'm not trying to be clever mate, but there is no way that Pep would tolerate him turning up hungover/pissed!

I'd be surprised if anyone can find a single example of him being disciplined of City for not being fit to train!
