All this Bullsh*t

I have increasingly become convinced that Bobby Manc will be at Manchester City for a long time. Shoving a wedge in the revolving door on the manager's office will do us good, after all these years, i'm sure of it.

Aaaah, that's all well and good.

But Paul Merson said we're not contenders, which is in even bigger (and dare I say, more concise) indication that we are contenders.

In all seriousness though, crackin post, and an accurate run down of our individual talents that form a successful collective unit.

Now, for one final time, to those who still say otherwise...

WE DON'T PLAY WITH THREE DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS!!!!

I think that Nige's game has moved onto another level this season. Last season he was just a tackling machine, but on Saturday there were two passes, one to Tevez from deep in our half, and the little through ball to Silva where Cech kept him out. The Nige goal is coming.

By the way, my Lord Effingham, when will we know when Joe Hart reaches his 'pimacle'? Will a balloon go up, a yell, summat in the proggy or will he shove his hand down his shorts and scratch it?

Virtually not kicked a ball for us or played in the prem but this is lumped on him. Amazing.

So should everything he has done so far in his career be ignored? Because it wasn't in England?

The "english game" thing is a myth, if you are good enough, and want it enough, you will make it.

I agree - and he can shove a wedge up the arse of the pessimists on here who've consistently failed to see what's been developing recently. We are by no means the finished article, but we are transformed defensively already from the soft touches we were under Hughes. We have a master tactician at the helm who has made very few bad calls to date, and imho, has not been given the credit he richly deserves.
The only times we fail is when inadequate players switch off. As the OP says, the deadwood is being hacked away bit by bit and as these mistakes happen less and less, the stronger we will become.
Onwards and upwards brothers.

Absolute quality post from the OP which I agree with 100%.

In fact, i'd like to say that if anyone on here disagrees with it they know absolutely nothing about football
