All-time City XI

Based on their very best form of their careers but obviously not always whilst playing for us.

Hard to come up with 12 so I’ll go with a squad of 22.

Keeper - Ederson, Seaman

Defenders - Zab, Book, Van Buyten, Kompany, Power, Doyle, Watson

Midfield - De Bruyne, Silva, Toure, Bell, Summerbee, Vieira, McMahon, Sterling

Forwards Aguero, Weah, Fowler, Tevez , Lee

Sure I have missed a few who should have made it.

Pleased to see Van Buyten getting a nod there.

Ederson
Van Buyten, Kompany, Laporte
KDB, Yaya, Summerbee, Viera, Sane,
Sergio, Anelka

Purely on ability and not including players I haven't seen

Yaya Toure Silva De Bruyne
Tevez Aguero Sané

Started watching in 1950s and it seems left back is our jinx position. From Cliff Sear and Vic Gomersall to Bridge and sadly Mendy. It appears our best left backs were right footers namely Pardoe and Donachie. Who have I forgot?

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Peter Barnes. He was my favourite player in the seventies!
