All Time English League Table

Yes that caught me that Arsenal didn't start moving rapidly up until the 1930s and Spurs/Chelsea post war
Arsenal enjoyed great success in the 1930s but don’t appear on that list until1948-49, with Spurs appearing in the late 80s and Chelsea just before the Millennium.

If that swing of power continues from the north, through the midlands, to the south, then good times and noodle salad await fans of Brighton/Southampton/Portsmouth...

And yet the North West has won 61 top flight titles to London's 21. Including 39 of the last 60. And 19 of the 28 PL seasons.

Sunderland fall like a stone. Not much of mention to West Ham or Leeds
West Ham have spent 57 of their 120 years outside the top flight, they’re 17th for most years in the top flight, and 18th in the all-time league table.

Leeds have spent 50 of their 101 years outside the top flight, they’re 25th for most years in the top flight, and 19th in the all-time league table.

Another club everyone always mentions about being a big club - Forest - have spent 100 of their 156 years outside the top flight, they’re 23rd for most years in the top flight and 22nd in the all-time league table.

I was watching a video earlier and it is a season by season league table for the English top flight and the thing that shocked me was that City sat higher than United for the majority of the 20 century indeed it wasn't until our relegation against Luton that they overtook us.... That being said we are now 1200 points behind! but we will overtake Chelsea and Spurs this season to moved into 6th spot

Does this make allowances for 3 points for a win, do you know? Interesting that the rags go past us after that system came in and then take off for 20 years of the PL.

This one doesn't with one that does we are 1100 points behind United still in 6th place but quite a bit ahead of Spurs and Chelsea(200 plus points).

The only changes in the top 8 when its adjusted is United and Everton swap, City move from 8th to 6th and Chelsea and Spurs switch places(so Chelsea end up 8th)
