Haha bingo, I thought my riddle would be harder than that!
In truth, given the way this season has unfolded, the premier league probably is more competitive than La Liga at the moment but I wouldn't say Barca's result necessarily acts as proof of the hypothesis. Ultimately does it matter, just enjoy them both for what they are.

The similarities are striking. Obviously the Spanish league is much higher quality but equally as uninteresting as a "league" for anyone who doesn't support Barca or Real. It's a shame, some of the teams below have real quality players but don't have the money to build comparable squads.
