Alternative striker options

Everyone is available for the right price. Whether we'd be willing to spend enough to get the very best is probably, unfortunately and very disappointingly, unlikely it seems. I'd love to see us to go for Salah, Kane, Neymar, Mbappe or Hazard.

However, we could go for Bale, or Lewandowski. Or maybe Diego Costa fancies a return to the Premier League. Even more controversially, what about a cheeky bid for Rashford?

Bale is world class, its just not a shame he's better at sitting on an medical table and stealing a living than he ever will be at football. I would rather fuck a bag of nails than see Neymar in a city shirt, he's an absolute reprobate. Hazard is just a whingey little shit with a nice booty, wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole at the prices chelski would demand. Lewandowski and Kane are incredible sure but they don't play across the front 3 so doesn't help our squad at all and would surely mean the end of Aguero.

So that only leaves Mbappe and Salah. Not a chance Mbappe happens, UEFA would really have to bend PSG over a barrel and they're far too corrupt for that no matter how hard they blow. Some briefcases will change hands, PSG will sell some dead wood and that'll be that. As for Salah FSG would pull our pants down for 200 million easily I reckon and no player is worth that. Especially not one who's had only one outstanding season and is almost 26.

To many people involved and some are independent from uefa for brown envelopes

Slim chance, but I would love Son. Griezmann, Bailey, Mbappe or maybe even Martial would be great signings as well

Independent, so it gives a fair opinion, and it would stand up in court

No I mean that's not what marketing companies do. They would provide a marketing strategy for a product etc, not audit the financial dealings of an organisation and whether or not that meets the legal obligations set out by a governing authority.

Your not get this,are you
They independent expert market valuation of commercial and marketing deals concerning psg

Independent? Ha ha ha.
Sorry I know that is how it should work but corruption in world football especially at FIFA and UEFA is endemic.
Octagon marketing from the USA is the independent consultant uefa used to assess psg sponsorship deals

Are they going to assess every football sponsorship deal? Could quite easily say that Bayern's deals are overrated given the league's international profile and the clubs limited appeal outside of Central Europe. It won't stand up in court if they only assess one club as they have no comparison to the rest of the industry at Champions League level.

So courts don't take into account an independent expert opinion

Not if it's unfounded and without context. They'll have to examine the commercial deals of every club in the Champion's League and compare and contrast them (within qualifying context) with the PSG deals to show what fair market value would be.

You can't give an estimation of fair market value without first looking at the rest of the market.

Any lawyer would pull you up on this, you can't compare market value of sponsorship deals when one is a betting company , brewing company , tyre company or a national tourism agency, because some companies want you to bet have a drink while watching a game the others want you to buy a tyre when you need a new one and one wants you to visit qatar
So that's why a independent expert marketing company would give their opinion of market value of sponsorship deals like qatar tourism agency of psg and any court would respect their opinion

Ok. I think the rags Chevrolet deal should only be worth 50k a year. I'm not going to compare it to other premier league shirt deals or other champions league shirt deals (despite the fact that the rags would have a right to challenge my evidence in court and bring in their own expert to give a second opinion, knowing that that expert would compare it to other deals for multi millions to show it was in fact fair value), I just think it's worth 50k and you can accept that without any backup or rationale, as I'm an expert.
Doesn't work like that, if UEFA want to state that PSG's deals are overpriced, it's up to them to prove that, it's not up to PSG, that's the way it works.

Then...
The first thing any competent legal representative would do is point out that market value is set by the market and not by a third party opinion. If PSG can sell a deal for €200m a year, it's worth €200m a year, simple as that. We live in a free market economy, not a communist collective.

The second thing they'd do is attack the fair value of Bayern's Adidas, VW, T-Mobile etc deals, as they have fairly poor shirt sales for the size of the Adidas deal and they have very poor global reach for the rest as a Bundesliga club, plus all those companies are shareholders in Bayern. Ask why those deals aren't being audited when they're the only reason Bayern remain profitable, if fair value is seen to be important by UEFA. That would show a conflict of interest by UEFA and paints it as the witch hunt it is. Then ask why all such deals weren't being challenged.

The third thing they would do is sell the PSG deal, they have the most marketable player in world football, they're dominant in their league and in the latter stages of the CL every year, they play in front of a sell out crowd in Paris every week, they're a household name and they're worth the money to their sponsors as they're promoting a multi billion dollar tournament.

As has been said many, many times, FFPR will only stand up as long as UEFA don't put a club in a position where they're pissed off enough to go through the court process.

Missed out 3 party issues, see you in court

This, this and this. The only question is where that thin line lies. Wonder if Sam Lee was serious mentioning that City are still keeping alive their hopes of getting Mbappe.

I hope so. I'd love us to tell the corrupt fuckers at UEFA to piss off, and sign Mbappe and Hazard for about £250m. See UEFA in court if they get uppity, the cheating rag-loving bastards.
