Worked well with Guardiola before, don't see why he wouldn't now. The issues are a) cost b) would he leave Munich, who are almost guaranteed to win the league c) his age.A great finisher but not mobile enough for the way we play. Imagine him with those KDB whipped crosses though.
With us having three lads who are just potential or have been potential and are just starting to get better at the moment and Kun on the wane, we really need someone bang at the start of their prime.
24-26 years old. Ready made. Already elite.
Like what we got when we signed a Silva, Yaya and de Bruyne.
David Villa is desperate to get to WC and still in a good scoring form. I'd love to watch him in England.Absolutely, I just don't think we'd get one until summer and it would probably be at the expense of Aguero moving on.
I do think we need something else for the rest of the season though. Aguero looks tired, which is never a good sign with his injury record and Jesus is out for a few more weeks and was out of form before the injury. Whilst we can manage occasionally with Sterling upfront, I wouldn't fancy it for an extended run or in critical games e.g. CL. Going into the season with only two forwards was always a risk, especially as we'd have been playing both if Mendy was available.
I think someone more Sanchez's age (29-32) who could come in and support what we've got and would get us through the season and be part of the squad next season. I like that we have younger players who will grow with us, but it needs some experience in the mix.
We could probably muddle through the PL regardless, even with both Aguero and Jesus out, but the cups will be a big ask without some more support.
Good shout but his shouting at Zidane for being left on the bench does not bode well for Pep who likes to rotate, when he canLucas Vazquez anyone ?
Zidane loves him..he can play at multiple positionsGood shout but his shouting at Zidane for being left on the bench does not bode well for Pep who likes to rotate, when he can

Lewandowski isn't mobile!??
Sometimes I read things on here that make me question if people have ever watched the players they're talking about. A guy who made his name in Klopp's counter-attacking Dortmund and Pep's high pressing Bayern isn't mobile...
I’d offer £150mil for Kane in the summer, well worth throwing it over to Levy.Ha, I imagine Spurs would be after almost double that for Kane in today's market!
Did I say he wasn't mobile? Or did I say he's not mobile enough? We need a player with the pace to run in behind & chase all over the front & Lewandowski although a great player won't be that player in the Premier League. Also the Dortmund counter attacking team you mentioned was a good 4 years ago now.
The man has literally shown he is the perfect striker for Guardiola, so don't try and come up with some bollocks that he can't play in a Pep side.
I haven't said either of the things you have accused me of saying.
You said he wasn't mobile enough to play for a Guardiola side, despite 2 seasons evidence that's complete rubbish.
I wouldn't be surprised if Griezmann went to Barcelona and Luis Suarez rolled up here at the Etihad. Barcelona won't keep Suarez if Griezmann arrives.
I know Suarez doesn't fit the ideal young profile which many of us fans want but his movement around the box is better than what we have got at present. I still feel we need a striker now though for the 2nd half of the season and there is probably no chance of the above happening until Summer.
