Agree with this, we need to get our 1st choice, world class targets.

I don't think we can afford to settle for players not fully proven at the top level yet.

This might make a few sit up and take notice, the balance just seems right.

....................................Lewandowski................................
..................Bale..................................Aguero

....................................Silva....................................

.................Moutinho/Gundongan/Fabregas.............Yaya

If this line - up make it, we spend 100m fund.

Lewandowski - 25m

Bale - 60m

Gundogan - 20m or Cesc - 30m

It's too expensive, and we care about FFP. also we need young CB.

Lewandowski costs us nothing in a swap with Dzeko.

We already have £20m from the Mario sale. The net spend would be less than £70m.

It's because we care about FFPR that we have to think a little more creatively, and long-term value for money.

People need to think more about wages than transfer fees with regards FFPR. We could spend £150m this summer as long as the wages are more realistic, in terms of spreading it over the five years.

I'm sure we will buy three big names and the club will also address the CB issue, with Lescott and Kolo leaving.

Surely we would have to put some money and dzeko to get Lewandowski mate
Would of thought about £10-£12 mill

Yep I reckon the players who we bring in won't be on a high as standard weekly wage but bonuses etc to top it up.

Speaking of a player in that line up, have you heard anything on Gundongan?

Any idea if we're interested and they'll be willing to sell?

but If we lost Lewandowski, we have another alternative ? Transfer market is always hard.

Tolmie, you've thrown Lewandowski's name into the mix as well as Fabregas, Moutinho, and Gundogan, with little previous reports we are linked with any of them...

Is this personal "want" list, or is it these players the club are indeed actually looking at very closely?

Lewandowski is out of contract next summer. Dortmund will sell and know £20m is a great price.

Same thing happened with Kagawa.

Dzeko is priced at the similar amount by us.

Dortmund want Dzeko.

I was simply asked a question about Fabregas in terms of would he leave Barca?

He and Moutinho are simply the type of players we need in this area of the team IMO.

As for Lewandowski and Gundogan, City have made firm enquiries for both in recent months.

I agree with you completely.

Thanks for the information!

If we miss out on Falcao and Cavani, then can't get Lewandowski, is it even worth going for anyone else?

The only other possibility I can think of is Jovetic and other than him I'm not sure anyone else really improves us. Might even be better to wait a year if we miss out on them and try and get someone who's going to give us a proper boost later rather than trying to force a square peg in a round hole now.
