I'm struggling because my own belief is they all have their own agendas over actually applying the laws of the game.

If it was ability you would have to bring in a foreign referee.
There lies the real issue. Not Taylor, but a system that has produced a bunch not fit for purpose. In fact I would go as far to aay that i would prefer Taylor over the others.

UEFA fucked them off for the inconsistent way they reffed domestic games along with the use of VAR going against the actual IFAB laws.You don't see English refs at the Euros or the World Cup anymore. Can't think why not.
