Am I the only one not looking forward to it?

I just know what I am expecting. Wigan to play really dirty and kick our players when they do not have the ball and get away with it. City to attempt to challenge for the ball and tackle and them to get cheap free-kicks. The referee to have an absolute shocker with several cards shown and the game not to be very entertaining at all with Wigan going route one all the time.

City playing football against Wigan simply won't work because they're not a footballing team. I have relatives who support Wigan and are season-ticket holders and they said to take my tissues tonight to which I responded that instead of tissues, I will take pillows because Wigan are so boring to watch!

Why have we got such a shocking record against such a crap team? Why am I dreading playing these anti-football merchants?

yeah we should'nt be worrying about the likes of wigan at home tbh We were unbeaten at home untill the other night . so id imagine the players will want to get back to winning ways tonight. Come on City

i've only watched them once this season at home to liverpool and they were very impressive away from home. however my united fan mate said they parked the bus against them at old trafford. that's the kind of thing we've struggled against. everton got men behind the ball and thumped it down the pitch and beat us so we've got to keep our wits about us.

Roberto Martínez has go them trying to play football, it's a little hit and miss(more miss than hit this season!), but it should be a good game.

Wigan are hovering over the trap door precisely because Robert Martinez is trying to get them to play footy - the long ball, kick everything that moves approach of Bruce has travelled to Sunderland. And they had coachloads driving him there.

Yes it's really sad and I for one feel sorry for Martínez and I hope he is a success(although not at Wigan!).

Not tonight anyway!! I'd hope Wigan stay up myself.

yeah the refs this season are getting me down it seems every other team can get away with murder while we are being punished left right and centre

wigan are not consistent

ssn said that after they have won a match they always draw or lose the next match - FACT.

they have just beaten burnley last week

so city will win tonight.
