after drogba and adebayo he's the best out and out centre forward in prem......if fit.

good signing in my opinion

His career strike record is 1 in 8.5 games if thats the 3rd best striker in the prem then this league is not the best in the world

To the aga doo tune
"Santa Cruz, Cruz, Cruz he scores goals for Man city,
Santa Cruz, Cruz, Cruz Makes kaka look shitty,
To the left to the right makes us shout and chant his name,
Because with him in our team we will never be the same!!!"

Cant wait to see him play next year:D

This guy is 6 ft 2in, 27 year old lean as a butchers pencil. He will do the business dont you worry. Come on Rocky, even the doubters must acknowledge he improves our present forward line. I say welcome on board the good ship MANCHESTER CITY Rocky and good luck.

I know people have doubts about RSC, but in my opinion there is no better header of the ball in the premier league, providing he stays fit, it's something we've lacked for a few years.

how many headed goals have we scored from set pieces???? not many.

This is true! And i dont think we've scored a header from a corner since Dunne v Boro in 2006/7! Plus why would he be adored in his home country of Paraguay if he was shit!? Because they'r not shit, they'r higher than the Argy bastards for WC Qualifying!

I think we've signed a good player, not great, not spectacular, but he is exactly what we need and have been missing up front!

Will we sign better players? YES!
But is he better than what we already have? YES!
Has he passed his medical which goes into depth about injury history and chance of reoccurrance? YES! So why are we worried about him getting injured again? If the medical says it shouldnt come back its more than likely it wont!

A big gamble , but if he's conquered his inury woes he could be a good signing for us ..... two seasons back there wasn't a better finisher in England , other than maybe Ronaldo ....... Santa Cruz is a good target man , gives us added height up front , and is a huge ariel threat to even the best of defences ...... moves into position well and is very difficult to mark ....... his finishing is second to none when he's on song ...... a true predator and very quick with it ............ if he can bag 15 goals next season i'll consider it money well spent.

surely a "out and out centre forward" is a player who plays up front possibly as a lone striker and whose job it is to score goals if thats the case i would say there is still a long list of strikers who would be classed as better than rsc; anelka, torres, defoe, bebatov not including the ones you already stated, however i do think he is better than what we already have and when making a signing that is the most important thing

Ned against Spuds the season before last? That one springs immediately to mind, due to it's scarcity value!
