am i wrong for going a bit annoyed about this? (blackpool)

Every year I miss out on a ticket for the derby at Old Trafford but I know people with less points than me who've gone, it is a tad annoying but I don't see it being sorted.

I'm with the OP, i'll rarely ask for help getting a ticket, if i haven't the points, and everyone i know is going, then i wait until next season when hopefully i'll have the points to go.

OSC should not be given tickets... the loyalty point system is there for a reason, and it's always the 'more attractive' games where mid point tier fans miss out for one off day trippers.

Whats the point spending all that money year on year when someone can rock up and get a ticket based on joing an OSC?

Am i missing something? i pay to watch city, not loyalty points.

on a side note, just ordered me blackpool ticket :)

I think you are missing the point big time Supporters Branches get an alocation but every ticket has to be matched to loyalty points .Not every one who applys for a ticket will get one .As stated before if branches did not get tickets there would be loads of empty seats at the less atractive fixtures .Dont think for a minute it is not regulated & people canot just join & get a ticket

I've got several good friends via my own OSC (I'll resist naming it) but the rest can kiss my arse for all I care. Tickets, away travel and picking up the odd bit of gossip. That's all I use them for.

Sounds like an old wives club to me.

You and me both... so when i come to spend my money, but can't... because the system is place has got a backdoor whereby people who don't spend there money following City can get infront of me, surely thats not right?

It might not happen at all OSC's but we've already had people in here today saying it happens.

I've got to keep track of my loyalty points though, because that's what sdetermines if i can go to watch City or not.

i hope this helps, when we played bolton away in carling cup a couple of years back, i couldnt get a ticket from city as i couldnt get through on phone, so i phoned bolton and said that some of my mates and i was doing the 92 grounds in a season and we havnt been to bolton new ground, could we have 4 tickets to watch there next midweek game which was city. got 4 tickets no probs.

a few lads i no have joined a osc just to get blackpool tickets,,,its pathetic they cheat they way to a ticket ..

Join a branch, but there is no guarantee you would get a ticket for any game !!!

Well do you think we should get rid of the ticket forum on here ?should we ban players & ex players from getting tickets .Stop co-orperate & sponsers from getting tickets

Buy an Orange wrist band and they'll let you in all day
