Firestick virgin here

I cook dinners for an 84-year old man who lives on his own near to me, and generally make sure he's OK.

He was a season ticket holder at Bloomfield Road since just after the war. When he could not go any more (medical issues), he used to travel down to his mate's house who somehow (via a firestick, he tells me), managed to watch Blackpool games on TV, home and away fixtures.
His mate's jossed it and the old boy would like to do the same in his own house - is there anyway, legal or otherwise, i can set this up for him. It's the only 'pleasure' he gets.
Any guidance much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Does he have internet?

If he is going to be on his own using it it be hard for him to use a fire stick with all the mod cons on it! It’s the when it goes wrong that’s the problem and not reliable enough!

Possible way around this is to have the player on device at home and device at old boys house.
Kinky could sort out any problem and do the 'housekeeping' of the app without being at the other house

Yeah also think a google tv box is better I have one and you can set up to have 1 app showing to as many as you want! So you put it on you get one app say to only open!
