The problem is I was a minute behind so spent most of the match on airplane mode.

I’ve got good internet too.

My mates in the group chat were all at different times too.

One said “great finish” on our 1st and someone replied “???????????”.

My understanding is there was a much bigger delay for everyone, than you get for Sky/BT and then some people with worse internet connections were even further behind.

Very good apart from the delay.
I knew we were about to score the 1st goal before jesus got the ball because my phone beeped with a goal alert from the premier league app on my phone.
I deleted the app after that so it didn't ruin other goals for me
