I wasnt bothered about them going on about the dippers, it's to be expected. What piss me of is they think it's ok to have ex dipper slagging of our team I wadnt even bothered when Owen was asked is it time to put the red and white ribbons on and it clear is. It was him going on and bloody on about the penalty that in his eyes wasnt a penalty even tho6he was told by the powers that be that any contract on the foot IS a penalty !! He went full anti City to try and make sure that VAR wont give us a penalty again and that is wrong and he should be called out over it

I just want professionals doing the job impartially and not Beglin saying for 5 mins non stop he doesnt see any pull back whilst we see several replays of his foot being fucking stood on.

Cut to the studio where another ex Dipper can carry on the hatchet job...........

Well surely that would be Hinchcliffe and Quinn then?

As for Beglin he clearly thought the pen was given for pulling on Mahrez and so was commenting on that. That is not bias just getting the wrong end of the stick. My missus could not see the foul either for ages.

Some of us made the point that it was down to who did the commentary. You get ex-Liverpool and Man Utd players commenting, they cannot help themselves and City fans don't trust them.

Beglin allowed his own bias to cloud his commentary of the game as it was clear that the Ederson sending off, the pen and the Mendy 'foul' were all debatable. SOme people, for example, Red Nev are able to discuss football without letting their colours affect their view of the game. They are few and far between.

I liked Lawro and the one or two seasoned pros. Now broadcasters are bringing loads of people in to try and please everyone.

Hinchcliffe and Quinn?

Wrong end of the stick? For a second perhaps but several replays and then its continuing all half time is not the wrong end of the stick, its clear bias and a refusal to be impartial and professional.

Yes I kept saying what the fuck is Beglin going on about the player stood on foot why are you going on about pulling a shirt. Beglin was totally unaware of the 'stamp' until I guess someone told it's not a pull but a stamp !

He shouldn't need fucking telling. An Ex pro cant see what millions can see instantly on the replay?

He saw it and decided to ignore it because it didn't fit with what he wanted too happen.

I am just heading out for a beach walk but will listen again to his half time stuff later and post back. I do not remember anything out of the ordinary but will listen again.

I only use Quinn and Hinchcliffe as an example as most people on here they want ex-city player coverage but when it happens they are considered biased against us also.

Yea right didnt want to see it or admit it was a penalty.
Do you think these pundits are assessed after each match if so he should be told to be more on the ball as we expect you to see a foul on the foot that's what you are paid for.

That was my point he was looking for pulling rather than the stamping on his foot. I do wonder what screens they have in the commentary box, stupidly of his commentary I was looking for pulling also, so thought initially it was not a pen.
