Amazon vans

Have you seen them drive, like most delivery drivers they don’t give a fuck, it’s not theirs.
They park anywhere they like aswell.
One parked over my drive the other day.
While he was dropping something next door.
I told him to move as I was going out.
5 minutes later I drove into town.
He was blocking the main Rd with parking spaces right next to him.
When I asked if he was either taking the piss or simple.
His reply was I'm a delivery driver I can park where I want

I had a go at one when our kids were young and he raced round the corner of the road - would've killed them if they'd been on their bikes. TBF the bloke was really apologetic and explained the wankers give them such unrealistic schedules/targets they pretty much have to drive like that.

It's a cache 22 because if they were paid more they would still drive like twats but make more money. I've helped my mate for a day on it his driving was fucked I thought I was gonna die never mind anyone else.

Personally I know from being within the Amazon bubble for a while that their treatment of drivers pretty much impacts the way they deliver, if you get treated like absolute scum by the company that won’t even employ you directly because why the fuck would they want to paying the tax and NI and pensions to the face of the company to the public then don’t be surprised that drivers have zero fucks.

The Amazon software penalises efficient good drivers by loading even more stops, think about this next time you order a a couple of quid bit of Chinese shite on Prime.

One hit my car last year while it was parked. He reversed out of a side road and hit the back door. He then drove forwards and had another go at the turn, then hitting the wheel and rear quarter. He then did a runner!
Thankfully, a couple of road workers saw the accident and took his reg number. £5k worth of damage.

Amazon dragged it out for over 18 months before admitting blame and paying out.
Turns out the Fords vans have CCTV and impact sensors. Their controllers knew about the bump before i did.
Police didn't want to know about leaving the scene or Amazon concealing the information.
Even though no fault to me, it affects my insurance for 5 years. My premium went from £650 to £1920.
All insurance went up, so i'm not sure how much was the claim. The car was sold either way.

So what your saying is stop using Amazon and make these poor drivers unemployed instead?
