Eh? If you go to Disney in any country you will be contributing to the US economy. A quick search says 10% of ticket sales and 5% of merch goes back to them.I won't be contributing to their economy

You mean some kind of rules-based international law. You might be on to something there - perhaps overseen by an organisation where all countries can sit together to discuss and resolve their problems. And to keep Trump onside, we'll allow it to be headquartered in New York. Just need a name.... 'League of Nations'?I know this sounds a little crazy, but maybe everyone should just respect the sovereignty of other countries and stop just thinking they are entitled to take what they want?
By all means try and negotiate a deal, and be prepared to be told to piss off, but don't come smashing through the gates with a big stick demanding control of everything.
Or to appease the septic's, we could simply call it the 'United' Nations? You mean some kind of rules-based international law. I'm tempted to say "whoosh" but you never know these days.Eh? If you go to Disney in any country you will be contributing to the US economy. A quick search says 10% of ticket sales and 5% of merch goes back to them.
The problem with that attitude is where would you declare a red line ?Quite funny watching Iran, China and Russia criticise America.
They can all fuck off
Russia invaded Ukraine and Venezuela, China and Iran have all looked to profit
Trump may be a dick, but I would rather a strong America that doesn’t give a fuck what China and Russia think.
To me it looks like they may be a bit worried now
The flaw in your plan is that Trump is compromised by and/or beholden to Russia, and so he absolutely gives a fuck what they think; much more so than his gives a fuck what Europe thinks.Quite funny watching Iran, China and Russia criticise America.

It doesn’t matter where my red line isThe problem with that attitude is where would you declare a red line ?
If a strong North America ran every central and southern American country ?
If a strong N.A. ran Greenland ?
What about Europe? He has already verbally attacked Khan, a democratically elected leader of London.
He is openly courting the European right wing to destroy the E.U.
So, as I say where's your red line.
I don’t actually think trump is arsed about RussiaThe flaw in your plan is that Trump is compromised by and/or beholden to Russia, and so he absolutely gives a fuck what they think; much more so than his gives a fuck what Europe thinks.
Fuck it thenEh? If you go to Disney in any country you will be contributing to the US economy. A quick search says 10% of ticket sales and 5% of merch goes back to them.
He's sent the tanks in?to appease the septic's
Well if its not the EU as in European countries as a block plus the others or Nato then how are we in a precarious position? As no one seems to be responsible at all.In fairness, it's not the EU's job to stop despots being despots. Nor is it NATO's. Putin's invasion, regionally, was unprecedented in its gravity; so that's different and we have supplied Ukraine with support to stop Putin being a despot. Otherwise, NATO exists as a defensive alliance. It exists as a deterrent, and post-WWII it has worked commendably. Trump is now actively trying to destabilise that.
Anyway, my main point was that our relationship with our European partners has soured, through our own doing. The precariousness of this is now heightened because of what's happening in the US.
Whatever Maduro has done or has not done, traipsing him around in shackles for the cameras is nothing short of a grotesque spectacle. PoWs have more rights.
The fact that Trump has now set himself up as some sort of international judge, jury and hangman is a frightening precedent made so much worse by the fact that the de facto International Criminal Court not only exists but the US does not recognise it. If they did Trump might have handed Maduro over to them, not that there is a warrant outstanding on Maduro, despite an ICC investigation.
On the other hand, there is an international warrant out on Netanyahu for crimes against humanity and whom, instead of being arrested, is feted by Trump on his frequent visits to the White House.
Truly these are dangerous times.
Our football club is over 18% US owned.I won't be contributing to their economy
And Trumps lackeys, sorry prosecutors will produce some evidence (cough) to show Maduro fixed the election, no matter if true or not. Therefore he is not legitimately entitled to immunity.Maduro's lawyers should point out that under the Venezuelan constitution, the President can't be impeached.
