I'm on a mission at the moment to apologise to anyone who I may have got into it with over the past years, including this forum.

The truth of it is the time I spent in hospital and my illness made me think I don't want to leave this world baring grudges, or knowing I've pissed people off without doing whats right.

So for what its worth I'm sorry to anyone who I ever did upset or piss off here.

Life's too bloody short at the end of day to bare a grudge or go off on one at people.

Not a sign of weakness at all. Illness and solitude can give you a clearer insight and often an inner strength. It is easier to hide behind a keyboard than to wear your heart on your sleeve and start a thread to all and sundry for something you feel aggrieved to have done.

Hope, whoever they are, can accept your offer of a clean slate.

Your name doesn't particularly strike memories of being a cockwomble :-) At the end of the day, it's only a forum. Should bring fun into your day and give you a break from the world as we know it. It was on the Isco thread after Real Madrid's official announcement and there was the usual ridiculous exaggerated self-flagellation from people claiming that the world had ended because we'd lost out signing a player to the biggest club in the world.

Included in that was some people taking issue with Pige posting the word "bitter", so I decided to throw a bit of petrol on he flames by confessing that I was, in fact, an undercover Rag and that I was "laughing at all you Berties".

Pam (seemingly under the influence of drink) immediately lost control of her senses and a few posters who are mates in real life weighed in and started fanning the flames confirming that I was, in fact, a dirty rag. Thanks for that lads.

What followed for the next couple of pages was utterly bizarre with Pam and few others collectively foaming at the mouth, calling for me to be banned. This even continued the next morning with another poster who has since had the good grace to apologise.

Amusingly one or two have continued to fail to get the joke (irrespective of whether it's funny) and have continued to assume that it's true, presumably because they are stupid.

I realise that there are undercover rags on here with thousands of posts, but I would have hoped by now, not least in the united threads, that I'd earned enough stripes to be considered "an untouchable", so to speak.

Just goes to show you the power of the mob, I guess.
